Personal Information
Dr. Dosani grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, where he earned his medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University. He began his medical career in the United Kingdom, completing two years of clinical training, before moving to the United States to pursue residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, followed by a Nephrology Fellowship at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Dosani joins Georgia Nephrology with over a decade of clinical experience in the Kentucky and Tennessee regions. He brings extensive expertise in managing a wide range of kidney-related conditions, including:
- Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
- Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
- Kidney Stones
- Polycystic Kidney Disease
- Electrolyte Imbalances
- Hypertension
- Dialysis management
- Post-kidney transplant care

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Dosani has been actively involved in medical education. He served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Louisville, KY, where he taught medical students, and was a Teaching Attending Physician for the Baptist Health Deaconess Family Medicine Residency Program. His leadership roles have included serving as a Medical Director of Dialysis Centers and as a member of the Medical Executive Committee at both hospital and practice levels.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Dosani enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three children. He is an avid traveler and enjoys playing cricket, tennis, and pickleball in his free time.
