About Dr. Kim
Dr. Kim grew up in Dallas, Texas, and considers himself a Texan at heart. He earned his medical degree in Arkansas and later moved to Atlanta to complete his Nephrology fellowship at Emory University. During his time in Atlanta, he grew to love the city and its community and decided to put down roots and make Atlanta home.
Dr. Kim believes that every patient brings a unique background, perspective, and set of needs to their care. He strives to build strong relationships with his patients and takes the time to ensure they clearly understand their kidney disease and treatment options. He values open communication and a collaborative approach to care, helping his patients feel informed, comfortable, and actively involved in decisions about their health.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kim enjoys staying active through sports and running. He is also an avid foodie who enjoys exploring new restaurants throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
